Edmund Schnappinger, as one could imagine, was also very successful at making kayak paddles and developed the PU-Rim technology to make a very robust paddles which were as good as the ESKIMO kayaks.

Many years later other manufacturers would adopt this method to produce kayak paddles which would dominate the market for years to come.
